​Phraseanet is an Open Source Digital Asset Management solution published under GNU GPL v3 license and can be downloaded and used for free. Before downloading the product, we invite you to take a look at the terms and conditions, as well as our recommendations.

Deployment methods:

1. Standard Deployment:

• ​ View the installation prerequisites here.​

2. Deploy with Docker (preferred method) :

• Get Docker
• View the docker and docker-compose versions for Phraseanet (depending on the Docker version you are using)
• More information about the deployed and provided images
• Environment customization: you may customize your environment by changing the parameters (address, login, password) in the file .env. For a first use, you can use the default parameters described in this file.

Steps:

• Download the version, unzip
• In a terminal, go to directory
• Download the images needed for the proper functioning of Phraseanet from Docker Hub:

docker-compose pull

• Start and install Phraseanet:

docker-compose up -d

• All parameters (login, password, admin password, address) are included in the . env file. Ex: http://localhost:8082. If no Phraseanet configuration file is detected, the Phraseanet container will proceed to an installation with the parameters included in the environment variable file.  See Phraseanet with Docker Readme on Github.
