Release of Phraseanet 4.0.9!
Monday, June 17th, 2019A new version of Phraseanet is available and you can download it for free here. Here’s the changelog for this release:
Adds
Back / Front – Unsubscription: It’s now possible to request a validation by email to delete a Phraseanet user account.
Back / Front – It’s now possible to add a user model as order manager on a collection:All users with this model applied can manage orders on this collection. This features fixes an issue when users is provided by SAML and the orders manager is lost when user logs in.
Back / front. – Searched terms are now found even if the searched terms are split in Business Field and regular Field.
Front – Share media on LinkedIn as you can do on Facebook, Twitter.
Front – Skin: grey and white, graphic enhancements.
Front – Introducing thumbnail & preview generic images for Fonts
Fixes
Front – Click on facets title (expand/collapse) launched a bad query, due to jquery error.
Front – Facets values appear Truncated after 15th character.
Front – No user search possible with the field “Company” and field “Country”.
Front – Bug on Chrome only – selected 1 document instead of all for the feedback.
Back – Some MP4 files were not correctly detected by Phraseanet.

Upload: a new feature!
Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019Now, you can add a document in Phraseanet from a URL.
Please note this is a feature available from releases 4.0.8+. Phraseanet 4.0.8 is available for download since March 29, 2019.
- Add the URL in the field
- Phraseanet downloads the document, then stores it.

Monday, April 1st, 2019Phraseanet 4.0.8 is stable and available for download !
Here’s the changelog for this release:
New features and Improvements:
-Upload: Distant files can be added via their URL in GUI and by API. Phraseanet downloads the file before archiving it.
-Search optimisation when searching in full text, there was a problem when the query mixed different types of fields.
-Search optimisation, it’s now possible to search a partial date in full text.
-Populate optimisation, now populating time: 3 times faster.
-It is now possible to migrate from 3.1 3.0 version to 4.X, without an intermediate step in 3.8.
Fix:
-Search filter were not taken into account due to a bug in JS.
-Overlay title: In this field, text was repeated twice if : one or several words were highlighted in the field, and if the title contained more than 102 characters.
-List Manager: it was impossible to add users in the list manager after page 3.
-List of fields was not refreshed in the exported fields section.
-Push and Feedback fix error when adding a user when Geonames was not set (null value in Geonames).

Video chaptering
Spare time when viewing a video: this new feature allows you to create chapters, add titles, illustrate each chapter with a screenshot!
Geolocation
A complete tool to index metatada, add metadata with a simple click on a map, select one or several zones to display the pictures, customize your map.
Graphic redesign
The Push/Feedback windows, and the list manager, are very useful in Phraseanet.
These windows are actually being redesigned and will be soon available!

- Graphic redesign of the advanced search
- Lightbox, better when using the cell phone! The feedback on mobile is much simplier now. We’ve added arrows, so you can switch more quickly between pictures.
- What’s new in the baskets?…A better visibility of the actions in the baskets!
- It is now possible to hide the facets
- It is now possible to add your own logo from the Administration interface.
